Jacket Tokyo Connect GORE-TEX
The Tokyo Connect GORE-TEX jacket offers the perfect combination of style, functionality and protection. It creates a new level of safety and comfort thanks to active lighting on the back and sleeves, the touch panel that has been integrated into the right-hand sleeve and the charging pocket for a smartphone. The watertight and windproof parka made of Gore-Tex three-layer laminate is suitable for use all year round thanks to an integrated AirVent system and a removable inner jacket. NP-Flex protectors on shoulders and elbows are also removable, lightweight and hardly noticeable. The zip from top to bottom and two large front pockets also guarantee added mobility and storage space.

Light conductors that have been smoothly integrated into the back and sleeves are watertight and flexibly adapt to your movements. They make sure you are seen in poor lighting conditions due to rain or smog during the daytime or at night in the dark. The light conductors thus make sure that you are no longer overlooked in traffic and they guarantee you added safety. Simply switch them on using the BMW Motorrad Connected app or the touch panel that has been integrated into the sleeve. And there is no issue with washing them together with the jacket.

The bottom right-hand sleeve accommodates the invisible touch panel that is merely characterised by a graphic design. Simply touch it and switch your jacket’s active lighting on or off. The other alternative would be to assign a different favourites function to it in the BMW Motorrad Connected App. As a result, you could also use it to open your navigation favourites, skip a song or operate and configure other Connected Rider Gear products.

You can store both your mobile phone and a power bank in the inside pockets of the jacket, which you can use to supply the jacket with power. Alternatively, you can also connect the jacket's control unit to your bike using the power cable included in the delivery specification. In this case you can use the BMW Motorrad Connected App to decide whether to charge your smartphone or the power bank.

Our BMW Motorrad Connected App links your smartphone with the jacket’s Gear Control Unit as well as your bike via Bluetooth. As a result, you are always connected and can control all functions. You can not only switch the light conductors on and off, but also change their colour as required. Use the favourites function of the touch panels to remain flexible and adapt the jacket to your demands at any time. And thanks to being in control of the power supply you make sure that you are always available on your smartphone.
